James Kilpatrick is the Managing Broker of Kilpatrick and Company Investment Real Estate Brokerage. His career began in 1998 with a major national firm specializing in investment property brokerage where he received numerous achievement awards and was an associate director of the multi-housing group. He has been involved in investment transactions of varying sizes and product types, but he specializes in San Francisco East Bay Area Multi-Family investments and Nationwide Net Leased properties. Broker's License: 01277022 James is a San Francisco Bay Area native and has experience as a Bay Area business and property owner. He has ownership experience with apartments, office, NNN retail, industrial, and restaurant properties. He participates extensively in local property owner organizations. Currently, he serves on the board of directors, is a regular contributing writer for the newsletter and is the president for the Berkeley Property Owners Association (BPOA). He also serves on the board of directors for the Rental Housing Association of Northern Alameda County (RHANAC) and contributes to their monthly publication. He is a member of the Rental Housing Owners Group (RHO), the Investment Marketing Forum (IMF), Northern California Regional Investment Forum, and Investment Property Marketing Group (IPMG). Mr. Kilpatrick regularly attends meetings of these organizations, in addition to other industry seminars and broker and investment forums.

Grant Chappell Vice President  |
Grant Chappell is the Vice President of Kilpatrick & Company. After graduating from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2003 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Spanish, Grant has worked exclusively in Real Estate. Before joining Kilpatrick and Company, Grant worked for one year at Wells Fargo as a loan officer specializing in purchase and refinance mortgages and equity lines of credit, for both English and Spanish-speaking clients. This gave him a firm understanding of Escrow Management, Real Estate Finance and the customs and legislation of Alameda County. Grant currently serves on the Board of Directors for RHANAC and writes a quarterly article on the 2 – 4 unit market for their monthly magazine. As a director, Grant frequently meets with city and county officials regarding upcoming legislation affecting property owners. Grant is also a member of the Oakland Builders Alliance and actively speaks on behalf of local developers and businesses at Planning Commission Meetings. |

Steve Pinza Investment Sales Associate

Steven Pinza is an Investment Sales Associate and the Director of the Southern Alameda County Apartment team at Kilpatrick & Company. Upon graduating from the University of California, Riverside with honors in 2005, Steven became well known for his leadership within numerous political organizations throughout California while developing a wealth of real estate knowledge through involvement with his family’s investment holdings. Since joining Kilpatrick & Company, Steven has been involved in over 20 transactions of varying property types, including multi-family, office, and mixed use properties throughout Southern Alameda County and San Francisco. Steven is an active member of the Rental Housing Owner's Association (RHO) Membership and Marketing Committee, and frequently contributes to the association's newsletter. Steven specializes in the disposition and acquisition of multi-family properties in both Southern Alameda County and Berkeley. He has lived in Southern Alameda County for over 20 years and has worked with buyers and sellers of all backgrounds. His deep understanding of various real estate markets and tremendous track record of success in the industry ensure results for his clients. Quinn Berg Investment Sales Associate

Quinn Berg is an Investment Sales Associate at Kilpatrick & Company. Upon graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Finance, Quinn has worked exclusively in real estate. Before joining Kilpatrick & Company, Quinn worked as the Director of Acquisitions for Lakeside Investment Company syndicating value added properties throughout the East Bay and developing a thorough understanding of real estate acquisitions and financing. Since joining Kilpatrick & Company, Quinn’s dedication and passion for all things real estate has quickly made him an integral member of the team. He has been involved in over 10 transactions working on the Southern Alameda County Apartment team representing both buyers and sellers of retail, office, and multifamily properties of varying sizes.
Having been born and raised in the East Bay, Quinn split his time between Contra Costa and Alameda Counties making him well acquainted with the various communities and real estate markets. Dave Domantas is an Investment Sales Associate at Kilpatrick and Company bringing over sixteen years of commercial real estate exposure including; commercial property management, leasing, and tenant improvement negotiations, budgets, and oversight; commercial property accounting including preparation of monthly financial statements, operating and construction budgets, variance to budget reports, CAM reconciliations, and cash flow analysis; and identifying, assembling and subdividing developable parcels of commercially zoned properties in order to bring the most value to its owner. Dave has worked and/or lived in Marin County since 1996 and spent four of those years managing the family estate of a Marin-based commercial property developer/restaurateur where he was hired to manage and make buy/sell/exchange recommendations and preparations on over one hundred million dollars of commercial real estate. Dave has been in commercial and multi-residential real estate sales for over seven years and has been involved in over 55 transactions involving Multi-Family and Retail investment properties. He has assisted property owners with the facilitation of over thirty 1031 Tax Deferred and Reverse Exchanges. Matt Hollander is an
